  I thought Tiger Woods was a disciplined decent young family man with a beautiful wife and 2 adorable children. Looks like I was wrong about everything except Elin & the kids. I'm very disappointed in Mr. Woods and disgusted with the good ole boy circuit that conspires to hide the disgusting behavior of celebrities and athletes.They can go on all day about "perks" and "variety" but, at the end of the day it's all just an excuse to act like a roaming dog in the street.

His image was carefully crafted to be "perfect" because thats the whole thing to golf..its pursuit of perfection and the seemingly unattainable hole in one..Tiger was professional, only occasionally reacting..it was that seeming perfection that got all the endorsements. Yeah, he got all that attention because he was a good golfer. Well Joan here's some news for you, Jack Nicklaus was a better golfer and the most he got was the opportunity to design a couple hundred golf courses and a sweater line. Tiger is a fraud. But Joan, do me a favor, realize that advertising and endorsements don't come from ability alone and for the public to come up with this singular image of Tiger -- that's MILLIONS of people, they all came up with the same imagery?   Totally disagree that Team Tiger didn't market himself on his clean image. Athletes like Lebron James are endorsed purely on basketball talent and not as a "family man". Tiger Woods did indeed portray himself as a family man. Team Tiger "carefully crafted" his image through the media and I'm sure it was all done with the CEO Tiger Woods's approval. He is an obvious fake and a selfish man and deserves the backlash he is getting. He will never be the same in the court of public opinion no matter how hard he tries to resurrect his fake image. The public will never buy his fake "innocence" ever again.

  The media put Tiger on a pedestal. He never marketed himself as anything other than an extremely talented golfer. He kept his family and life outside of the golf course private. His endorsement activity was because of his golfing ability and no other reason. The public built him up in their minds to be a certain personna and now that image is shattered. Was he wrong, yes. But, does that make him less of a golfer. That's the ability that brought him fame. We all have a right to an opinion regarding this mess, but ultimately it's up to Tiger & Elin to resolve it and what they do and how they do it is no one's business but theirs.
