Introducing… Princess Farming! Bachelor Chris Soules shared his first-ever Instagram photo with his new fiancée Whitney Bischoff on Wednesday, Mar. 11, calling her the love of his life.
"Look at my beautiful fiance @whitbisch!" the Iowa farmer, 33, wrote, alongside a snap with his smiling future wife. "Finally able to be in public with the love of my life! Thank you bachelor nation for stickin through it all."
As viewers witnessed on the season 19 finale of ABC's smash reality series, Soules proposed to Bischoff with a beautiful 4-carat diamond ring by Neil Lane. Both Soules and Bischoff spoke to Us Weekly in a conference call on Tuesday, Mar. 10, where they shared what they've learned about each other since the taping.
"I feel like we got to know each other really well during the show," Soules told Us, adding that he was impressed she "hasn't changed" since the cameras stopped rolling.
"At the end of The Bachelor, you wonder: 'Are these girls really here for me? Are they who they say they are? Are they putting on acts? Are they here to be the next Bachelorette?'" he continued. "The thing I'm most thankful for is that with Whitney — what you see is what you get — and I'm continually impressed."
Soules has also remained (mostly!) the same, with the exception of a few quirks. "There are little things that I've learned," Bischoff joked with Us. "He can fall asleep anywhere. He's a hard sleeper, and funny things like that, but nothing that is alarming."
As for whether the Chicago-based fertility nurse, 29, is ready to roll up her sleeves and get to work on his family's farm? "I'm ready to get there and to help in any way I can," Bischoff told Us. "I don't know that we'll know until we get there what that really means."
But first, she will be supporting her fiancé as he competes on Dancing With the Stars.
Along with his lovey-dovey snap, Soules also posted an Instagram photo on Wednesday, posing with his dancing partner Witney Carson. "Excited to be joining the cast of Dancing With The Stars w/the reigning champ @witneycarson!" he told fans. "Make sure you tune in on March 16th!"
