Dana Cody is heating up Miami in Boss Nails! The the 26-year-old — who just so happens to be the 26-year-old stepmother of former Real Housewives of New York City star Aviva Drescher — has her own show, which follows the Miami nail salon owner and the struggles of running her shop, TippieToes Beauty Lounge.
Us Weekly has the first look at the new series, which debuts Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 9 p.m. ET on Oxygen, and features Cody and her employees creating one-of-a-kind nail art, including the ultra-blinged-out Treasure Nails (who knew so many rhinestones could fit on one finger?!), and her newest creation, Imperial Nails.
“I have invested a s—load of money,” Cody confesses before introducing some of the drama that will play out in the new Oxygen series — including twerking, ice bucket throwing, male strippers, a party bus, and a bearded hipster nail tech.
Cody and Drescher’s 77-year-old father, George Teichner, were married in a secret Malibu ceremony in August 2014, without the RHONY star present. The couple did allow cameras to capture their love on the Bravo series, where Techner popped the question to Cody in front of Drescher and castmate Sonja Morgan.
“@avivadrescher was not the ONLY “NO SHOW”..because we DID NOT TELL ANYONE!!!!” the bride wrote a week after the ceremony when speculation began as to why Drescher wasn’t present at the nuptials. “Neither family members were aware!! My #HUSBAND & myself only allowed the world to view our love via #RHONY @bravotv so that the public can understand that #truelove & #soulmates exist despite ageism,& cultural differences!!”
