“[I’m] probably going to burn the birds or something, and they’ll be like, ‘That was nice,'” she says.

Jessa, 23, who married husband Ben Seewald in November 2014, points out that she doesn’t get to spend as much time preparing home-cooked delights as she might like.

The new series, which follows the three-part special of the same name that aired last year, centers on the older Duggar siblings as they grow up and start their own families. 19 Kids and Counting focused on Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar raising their brood, and aired 10 seasons before signing off in May 2015.

Jill & Jessa: Counting On premieres on TLC on Tuesday, March 15, at 9 p.m. ET.
