Onward and upward! After costarring on TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting, Jill and Jessa Duggar have landed their own series Jill and Jessa: Counting On, premiering on the cable channel on Tuesday, March 15, Us Weekly has learned exclusively.
Following their three-part special of the same name that aired on TLC last year, the series will follow the lives of the two sisters as they deal with life’s challenges, including raising their own families. The episodes will show Jessa and husband Ben Seewald bonding with son Spurgeon, 3 months, while Jill and husband Derick Dillard balance caring for son Israel, 10 months, with working as missionaries in Central America.
Also set to appear on the show are Jill and Jessa’s siblings Jana, Jinger, Joy Anna, John David, Josiah and Joseph Duggar, along with sister-in-law Anna.
“We’ve shared this journey with the world,” Jessa says in the first trailer for the series. “Family is everything.”
19 Kids and Counting, which centered on Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar raising their brood, aired 10 seasons before signing off in May 2015.
