Elle Fanning to Star Opposite Angelina Jolie in Sleeping Beauty Remake?

That could be the case, if the 13-year-old starlet is confirmed to play Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) in the upcoming Disney film, Maleficent, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
In the role of the iconic villain who curses baby girls: Angelina Jolie, 36, who will be stepping in front of the camera for the first time since making her directorial/producing debut with her war drama In the Land of Blood and Honey.
A course confirms to Us Weekly that the film, told from the perspective of Maleficent, will tentatively start shooting this June.
In 2011, Fanning (whose older sister Dakota Fanning has been on the scene for years) had her breakout role in the Steven Spielberg-produced sci-fi thriller Super 8.
