Hart of Dixie Season Finale: Two Weddings, One Baby, and One Big Sing-Along!
Hart of Dixie aired its fourth season finale on Friday, Mar. 27 — see who got hitched! Henry Lamb/Photowire/BEI/Shutterstock

Is this goodbye, Dr. Zoe Hart? Word is still out on whether Hart of Dixie’s fourth season finale on Friday, Mar. 27 is in fact its last episode, but the show wrapped up perfectly if that’s the case. Rachel Bilson’s long-running CW series left fans with two weddings, one birth, and a huge musical number. (Only in Bluebell, Alabama!)

Find out how each couple ended up below. (Warning: Spoilers ahead!):

George Tucker and Annabeth Nass
Lover’s quarrel! George (Scott Porter) runs into trouble after reuniting with girlfriend Annabeth (Kaitlyn Black) following a few weeks away at his new Nashville job. The lovebirds have fun in, ahem, the bedroom, but Annabeth gets upset when she hears he may stay in Nashville for good. The couple bicker, but ultimately blurt out “I love you” to each other. Annabeth then eventually moves to Nashville and finds a nursing school there.

Lemon Breeland and Lavon Hayes
What a mess! After giving her blessing to Wade Kinsella (Wilson Bethel) that he can steal her proposal thunder, Lemon (Jaime King) learns at her engagement party that Lavon (Cress Williams) accidentally stole Zoe and Wade’s proposal. After a brief fight, Lavon pops the question (for real this time) on the side of the road. In a flash forward musical sequence, the two say “I do” in the town square. Annabeth and Zoe are bridesmaids as George and Wade support Lavon as his groomsmen. Better yet? The whole town breaks out in a sing-along, which makes for an adorable ending.

“Long live the heart / Long live this soul,” they belt out Needtobreathe’s “The Heart” song. “That knowns what it wants / That piece you can find / That part is the whole / And it never lets go.”

Dr. Zoe Hart and Wade Kinsella
Cue Matt Nathanson’s “Run” tune! Zoe and Wade, ladies and gents, finally got their happy ending — in a hospital. Zoe goes into labor (her water breaks on Lemon’s foot) at Lemon’s engagement party. After rushing to the hospital, and seeing all her loved ones surrounding her, Zoe makes the impromptu decision to get married right there in bed. (No, really!) Everyone from George and Annabeth to Wanda (Mallory Moye) and Tom (Ross Philips) help with last-minute decorations. As she’s wheeled into the delivery room, Zoe and Wade exchange vows. Afterward, they welcome their son and show him off to everyone. They can’t decide on a name, so for now they just call him TBD Hart-Kinsella.

Once a New Yorker, Zoe later finds her way back to the town square bench with Wade. Bluebell is a far cry from NYC’s bustling streets, but it seems like she’s fit in all along. “Do you think all small towns are like this one?” Zoe asks. Wade replies: “I’d like to think so, but probably not. I know I love ours.”

Leftovers:

1. Tansy (Mircea Monroe) moves back to Bluebell
2. Rose (McKaley Miller) heads to Columbia University
3. Dr. Brick Breeland (Tim Matheson) finally makes Zoe a partner in the business!
