
Scott Porter

Born on July 14, 1979, Scott Porter is an actor best known for his roles as Jason Street on Friday Night Lights and George Tucker on Hart of Dixie.
As a child, Porter and his family moved from Nebraska to Florida. The aspiring actor later attended the University of Central Florida, where he sang in an a cappella group, 4:2:Five.
Porter got his big break when he was cast in the Off-Broadway show Altar Boyz. After making minor appearances on As the World Turns and The Bedford Diaries, he was cast in Friday Night Lights.
In addition to lending his voice to video games, Porter has also appeared on the big screen in films like Music and Lyrics, Prom Night, Bandslam, Dear John, 10 Years and The To Do List.

Porter married casting producer Kelsey Mayfield in April 2013.
