Awkward! Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss has been documenting the recent lead-up to her April 4 nuptials to now husband Todd Tucker on Bravo’s spin-off Kandi’s Wedding, and it looks like things didn’t go so smoothly before tying the knot—especially when it came to talking about their prenup.
In an exclusive first look at the upcoming Sunday, June 22, episode, Burruss and Tucker get heated when it comes to the details of their premarital agreement.
“You can’t be mad at me for dealing with my lawyer and he has concerns,” Todd tells his now wife, adding, “Is this s–t personal or is it just business?”
“How is it personal to say you get what you get and I get?” Kandi snipes back. Things escalate when Todd points out: “If we don’t work out, I have to get out of the damn house in 30 days? How do I get out of the house in 30 days? “
As viewers well know, Kandi’s mom, Joyce, has also voiced her concerns over Todd allegedly wanting her music mogul daughter’s money on the reality series all season.
“Todd can say whatever he wants about it not being about the money [being] why he doesn’t like the prenup,” Kandi tells the camera. “But meanwhile, his attorney is [the one] sending notes and all those notes are about money!”
The reality star then says to Todd, “So you think you should get some of my money?” In which he replies, “I don’t want your f–king money … I don’t think there’s gonna be no wedding.”
