Making the best of an awkward situation? Kris Jenner praises daughter Kylie for how she's handling Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna's engagement in Keeping Up With the Kardashians' Sunday, July 3, episode, as seen in a preview clip.
The E! series' sneak peek shows the family's matriarch, 60, telling Khloé Kardashian that she finally got to sit down with Rob, 29, and Chyna, 28. The couple surprised his family members by announcing their engagement on social media on April 5 after two months of dating.
Kris says to the camera, "It feels so good to have had the conversation with Rob and Chyna. Just being with them, and hearing what they had to say, and seeing how in love they are, is amazing."
The momager admits to Khloé about Rob, "He's a grown man, and he needs to make his own decisions, and I need to let go a little bit."
Kris and Khloé, 32, also discuss the fact that Kylie, 18, similarly got to clear the air with the newly engaged pair. Kylie's on-and-off boyfriend is rapper Tyga, who was previously engaged to Chyna and shares a 3-year-old son, King Cairo, with her.
"It makes me so happy that Kylie was able to be so mature and sit down with her brother and Chyna and really get some of the past issues talked about," Kris tells the camera.
"The next step, I think, is really for my other kids to follow in Kylie's footsteps," she adds.
Kylie and Chyna posted pics to social media on April 21 of the two of them hanging out, with the Lip Kit by Kylie mogul referring to herself and the model as "best friends."
