In the wake of her cheating scandal, Kristen Stewart is hitting the road.
In addition to appearing this fall with Robert Pattinson in the final Twilight Saga film, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2, Stewart will return to the big screen in the Walter Salles' directed movie, On the Road.
Stewart, 22, stars as the seductive Marylou, who is the 16-year-old wife of Dean Moriarty, played by Garrett Hedlund.
The new U.K. trailer of the film adaptation of Jack Kerouac's American classic shows Stewart letting lose and dirty dancing with Hedlund, 27. The Twilight actress tackles several sex scenes in the film and goes topless. Back in May, Stewart told MTV News she "wasn't scared" to go nude.
"I felt so safe with Walter," she revealed about working with the director. "Nothing was ever, ever about taking your clothes off."
After Us Weekly revealed exclusive photos on July 24 Stewart cheating on Pattinson, 26, with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, 41, on July 17, the actress released a statement apologizing.
"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected," the actress said. "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
On the Road also stars Sam Riley, Amy Adams, Kirsten Dunst, Tom Sturridge, Viggo Mortensen and Elisabeth Moss.
The film has an official release date in the UK of Oct. 12, 2012, but an official U.S. date has not yet been revealed. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2 will hit theaters Nov. 16, 2012.
