Friendships can be difficult to maintain, whether they play out on TV or not. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Kyle Richards tells Us Weekly exclusively that her relationship with Yolanda Foster is not as warm as it could be.
Richards, 47, spoke to Us at a recent press event at Spalding Plastic Surgery in Los Angeles to promote SculpSure, a noninvasive laser fat-reduction treatment. The mom of four reveals that she and Foster, 52, who clashed in last week’s final installment of the season 6 reunion over comments Richards had made about the former model’s Instagram posts, are currently on “OK” terms.
“She’s been very hard to get close to,” the Celebrity Apprentice season 8 contestant says. “I tried and made an effort, and I felt like it was never reciprocated. It’s very hard to get close to her.”
However, Richards points out that she has no ill will against her costar, calling her a “nice person.”
One person who the Little House on the Prairie alum has had even more friction with is Brandi Glanville, who appeared in a taped segment in last week’s reunion. Richards reveals that she tweeted at Glanville, 43, last week that the former Housewife had misspelled a word in a tweet about the reunion, and the podcaster apparently did not appreciate the feedback.
“She spelled it L-A-D-Y-S, and she tagged Andy [Cohen]!” Richards explains. “And I tweeted back, ‘LADIES.’ And she has me blocked on Twitter! So we can’t see each other.”
Richards also tells Us that sister Kim Richards is “happy and doing well and strong.” Kyle says she “would love” for Kim, 51 — who was not a regular season 6 cast member but appeared in multiple episodes — to return to the series full time.
“I honestly think the show is even better with her on it,” Kyle says. “My daughters, she’s their favorite Housewife! She says the funniest stuff.”
