Here Comes Honey Boo Boo alum June Shannon, better known as Mama June, was taken to a hospital after collapsing in her Georgia home on Wednesday, March 2, her rep confirmed to Us Weekly. The rep did not have further updates on her status.
June, 36, and Mark "Sugar Bear" Thompson are the parents of Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, 10, who helped launch the family to stardom with her memorable appearance on Toddlers & Tiaras.
The past few years have been rocky ones for June. TLC canceled the family's series in 2014 after three seasons when reports surfaced that she was allegedly dating a man who had been convicted of child molestation.
June and Sugar Bear, 44, appeared on the We TV unscripted series Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars earlier this year in an effort to repair their relationship. During their time on the show, June accused Sugar Bear of cheating on her with both men and women.
