Pat Sajak Raps Rae Sremmurd’s “No Type” on ESPN’s Highly Questionable: Watch

Wheel of rhymes! Famed game show host Pat Sajak showed off some unexpected and slightly questionable skills on ESPN’s Highly Questionable on Thursday, Dec. 11.

The Wheel of Fortune mainstay, 68, proved just how hip he still is during his chat with Dan Le Batard, Bomani Jones, and Gonzalo “Papi” Le Batard. Sajak gave a seemingly impromptu rap performance during the conversation.

The veteran TV personality teamed up with Papi to do his best rendition of rap duo Rae Sremmurd’s latest hit, “No Type.” Made up of Mississippi performers Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy, Rae Sremmurd released “No Type” off of their upcoming studio album SremmLife after the breakout success of the single “No Flex Zone.”

The duo’s quick success has taken off so much that even Sajak got in on the fun.

Papi opened the song, singing, “I don’t got no type.” Sajak then jumped in, rapping, “Bad [cough] is the only thing that I like,” coughing in place of the word bitches. “You ain’t got no life.”

As Jones and Dan Le Batard looked down and tried not to laugh, Papi continued, “Cups with the ice and we do this every night / I ain’t check the price,” before Sajak added, “I make my own money, so I spend it how I like / I’m just living life.”

While the rising stars have yet to comment on Sajak’s take on their song, Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy retweeted a link to the video on the Rae Sremmurd Twitter page. For his part, Sajak seemed to express regret, jokingly tweeting, “Appearances on ESPN yesterday dramatically altered my career. Hoping that counseling will salvage what’s left of it.”
