Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger, Steve Jones Leaving X Factor

Monday was pink slip day at X Factor.
As confirmed to Us Weekly by a network rep, the FOX reality competition's host Steve Jones will not be returning for season two, nor will mentor Nicole Scherzinger.

"I won't be hosting next seasons X Factor which is a shame but I cant complain as I've had a great time," handsome Welshman Jones tweeted Monday. "Good luck to everyone on the show."

Jones and singer Scherzinger aren't the only departing stars; judge Paula Abdul (who first traded barbs with executive producer and fellow judge Simon Cowell on American Idol) is also leaving, a source confirms to Us Weekly.
Claims Deadline: "None of the three left on their own accord," adding that the show's producers were "cleaning house."

12WELL IM SURE ABOUT THESE PINK SLIPS GIVEN!!! I really liked all 3!!! I'm not really happy that Melanie won the first X Factor... Clearly was alot better talent on the show... Its all rigged anyways so in the end they know who is going to win thats crystal clear from the begining!! Just wonder who they will be getting as replacements! So replace Nicole thats fine but Paula! Why her! And Steve he was great sooooooo he didnt let anyone ramble on like Ryan does on Idol.... Not really feeling this show anyways... Simon u'r making big mistake expecially when it comes to Paula!!!! :-(

That host was soooo annoying! Nails on chalkboard. I actually fast forwarded the DVR through his chater! Ugh! LA...OMG! He made me so ill! When Rachel Crowe sang her final song he sided with "his boy". That's exactly what he said. Disgusting. They should definitely get rid of the mentoring thing. Nicole...Geez....definitely saw THAT coming! Seriously, between her overly dramatic gestures and crocodile tears, you just know she HAD to go. Annnnd, the fact that she made alot of "enemies" by not doing the right thing and voting for Rachel when she was CLEARLY the best of the two sing offs.
Love Paula. To me, she makes the show - NOT SIMON. I haven't watched Idol since she left. The was the heart and soul of that show also. Jennifer Lopez tries somewhat to be like her now I know on Idol but to me she doesn't come anywhere near Paula's personality or knowledge.
Its really a shame because I really liked them. I don't care for all the bickering that Simon and LA did.
I hate to see Paula go!! Why?
I won't miss Steve Jones or Nicole but I definitely don't want to see Paula Abdul go !! I think now as I did on American Idol, that she adds compassion and a warm human element to these shows 1 Sometimes it's cruel and depressing to see hopes destroyed in the course of the shows and she tries to comfort and encourage. Sometimes I would like to see Randy leave ! He can really be heartless !! Steve, in my opinion is too arrogant !!
I like Paula even though she always seemed like she was on something. I never liked Nicole. The host was okay. I get sick of the stupid questions they ask the contestants as well as those long pauses before the results. Just get to it. We don't need a 30 second pause. Lets get down to business. The shows would be a lot shorter if they got rid of them.
Nicole and for that matter, Paula sealed their fates the week that Rachel Crow was eliminated. The look on Simon's face that night said it all.
Not sure if I will watch glad Steve is gone but, love Nicole and Paula all the haters got their wish...

I'm happy they are leaving...Steve wasn't good host, Nicole did not what she was talking about, Paula was quite ok...let see who will come next
