It's musical chairs for season six of RHONJ! Bravo announced the cast for the new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and it looks like three new Housewives have been added to the mix. The show will feature six Garden State residents beginning July 13: Returning stars Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, former member Dina Manzo, and new inductees Teresa Aprea, Nicole Napolitano, and Amber Marchese.
Veterans Teresa and Joe Giudice will air their personal struggles behind their public legal battle. According to Bravo, the Giudices will "fight to keep their family intact" after both Teresa and Joe pleaded not guilty to fraud charges. Melissa and Joe Gorga will also return to the show. (No word yet on any bloody christenings like those witnessed on previous seasons.)
As first reported by Us Weekly, season one New Jersey Housewife Dina Manzo will make a comeback to the show. Dina, according to Bravo, has returned to the Housewives franchise "to help her soul-sister (Giudice), but ends up revealing her own private pain." The blonde star's storyline will feature her divorce from Tommy Manzo, and daughter Lexi's departure for college. In the muddle, Caroline Manzo's estranged sister will attempt "to face her fear of dating."
Surprisingly, Dina's sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita, who's been a RHONJ staple for five seasons, is out. Also departing from the show are Kathy Wakile and Caroline Manzo. Caroline will star in her own upcoming spinoff, Manzo'd With Children, alongside her tight-knit family. In their place, three additional cast members have been added. Another Teresa, and her husband, Rino Aprea—owners of a famous Italian restaurant in NYC—will make a splash on the show.
Nicole Napolitano, a two-time divorcee and Teresa Aprea's identical twin sister, is joining the cast, too. She's said to appreciate an "over-the-top" lifestyle, similar to Teresa Giudice. The broker also has a new relationship with a man that her family does not like.
Amber Marchese is described as a "no-nonsense Jersey native and breast cancer survivor." She was an old friend of Melissa's, but there was some falling-out along the way. Bravo says Marchese "tries to rekindle their friendship, but stirs up trouble."
Other aspects of season six touted by Bravo include "shocking rumors of infidelity and backstabbing." Tell Us: Are you excited for more RHONJ?
