Hate on Snooki all you want -- names will never hurt her.
"The negative stuff? I get off on it," the self-described Jersey Shore "guidette," 22, tells the new Rolling Stone. "Because the only reason why people talk negative is because they're jealous. Every time they call me a midget, Oompa-Loompa, orange, they're just jealous. It makes me want to be more ridiculous and more stupid."

Snooki -- real name: Nicole Polizzi -- recently told Steppin Out that she thinks even some of her MTV castmates might be jealous.
She said she's gotten more "opportunities" than some of her reality show pals, but she can't "control those things. The media isn't asking for the others so they can't really be mad at me."

Snooki and eight cast members recently signed on for season 3 of Jersey Shore - and got a nice chunk of change. The Hollywood Reporter claimed they're making about $30,000 an episode -- a 200 percent raise.
Season 2 of Jersey Shore debuts July 29.

I don't think she's referring to people being jealous of her looks, but of the opportunities she has. She's getting paid to go out and party, paid to make club appearances, stuff she and millions of other people do anyways. She's making more money than some people see in a lifetime. I love how Us Weakly (the PR machine pretending to be entertainment jounalism) is pretending that "the worse" insult Snooki gets is being refered to as an "oompa-loompa" instead of, say, an "untalented useless hoe"

I've admired Mel ever since I saw him in 1982's The Road Warrior, where he played Mad Max, a loner whose family had been murdered by a bunch of psychotic bikers in the first Max film, and, a burnt-out shell of his former self, roams the Australian outback in search of gasoline, lacking any real purpose, until he reluctantly helps a band of humans outrace and outwit the trash of the desert, the "dogs of war", led by the fallout-scarred Lord Humungus. This is a character I deeply identify with, and it's sad that this sense of isolation has spilled over into Mel's personal life. If Mel didn't spout the "N" word, he could call buddy Danny Glover of Lethal Weapon fame. I think Mel should pal up with Sylvester Stallone! You can bet that Sly has his share of dark issues, his demons, as well, but Sly chooses to channel them into a healthy outlet, his workout routine! A few weeks in the gym with Sly would improve Mel's outlook and his physical health! Mel would give up the smokes and the booze, and would have a healthy outlet for channeling his anger. Then, when it comes to interacting with the ladies, he'd be a bit more calm, mellow, serene and civil.
