Giudice, 44, first got the idea to reach out to former castmate Staub, 54, when Andy Cohen brought her up during the upcoming Real Housewives of New Jersey season 7 reunion.
"I was thinking [about] the question — we don't want to talk about the question because you're probably going to show it. So then I just DM'ed her and right away she called me back. We were texting back and forth and I said, 'Do you like yoga?' And she said, 'I love yoga,'" Giudice explained.
"It was where we just left off," she continued. "It was totally fine … Before flipping the table — when she first came on the show."
As previously reported, Giudice and the former Real Housewife posted a photo getting their Zen on together on October 19 and again on October 26.
Of course, the bonding shocked Bravo fans. In the past, Giudice called Staub a "prostitution whore" when she flipped a table during one of their epic spats, which has gone down as one of the biggest moments in Real Housewives history.
Still, Giudice was able to look past it all. "I feel like she never tried to hurt me in any way maliciously, so I just wanted her to know that," she told Cohen, 48. She added that they definitely spoke about other Housewives together, but kept mum about who.
Earlier this month, Staub, who left the series after season 2, exclusively opened up about the reunion to Us Weekly. "We reconnected and it has been so natural and great," she said. "We hugged and it was very good to see her. Everyone in the class was like, ‘Did I just witness that?'"
"Afterwards, we went to Jamba Juice together and had a nice long talk," she added. "She and I have been treated the same way by the rest of the OGs in the cast, so we have a lot to bond over … I think now both of our intentions is to leave the past in the past."
