The Voice has some additional star power this season, as contestant Briana Cuoco's celebrity sister, Kaley Cuoco, has appeared on the show to support her several times. Briana is Kaley's former personal assistant, who gave up the gig to pursue her own passions on The Voice stage.
The gritty rocker made it onto Team Christina Aguilera after her blind audition performance to Lady Gaga's "You and I." But last night was almost the end of the road for the talented artist after she lost her battle round duet to young New Jersey artist Jacquie Lee.
The two powerhouse vocalists belted out their rendition of The Animals' "House of the Rising Sun," and ultimately Xtina sided with Lee, declaring her the winner of the battle. Kaley watched in tears as Briana thanked her coach for her guidance and support.
But thanks to the recently introduced "steal" option, Briana was offered a second chance when both Blake Shelton and Cee-Lo Green pressed their buttons to steal her onto their teams. After each coach offered their own sales pitches, Briana decided to join Team Blake, later telling her sister that Shelton's three-win streak was the main contributing factor behind the decision.
"He's won three times in a row, so maybe this will be another one!" she told The Big Bang Theory actress backstage.
