Levi Johnston Criticized for Having "Hairy Armpits" in Playgirl

Levi Johnston's much-anticipated Playgirl photos made their debut Saturday -- and critics were split when asked by Usmagazine.com to weigh in on the 19-year-old's PG-13 poses.

Chippendales dancer Nathan Minor (who has posed in more than 100 photo spreads, including the 2010 calendar):
"The only problem -- his hairy armpits! We take only mostly shaved guys. He should also focus on his diet to help him get a bit harder. He doesn't have to go the fitness-y hard look, but he could tighten up a little bit. His body is a little soft. But he has good hair and a great face. He's definitely Chippendales material. Anytime he wants to do the show, he's more than welcome!"

"As a woman, I think the shots are tasteful, but of course, I would have loved to have seen it all! I think it's hard to get a 19-year-old to do 'sexy' and really get it. Stop hatin people.... Regardless of what people think about this young dude he is doing the same thing Palin is doing. He is prostituting his assets for the money. While I don't agree with the path he is taking I must say he's young, uneducated and does not have much experience in many aspects of life. When a man without a shirt on raises his arms, his underarms should be filled with hair, completely natural. Levi is handsome with an awesome athletic physique. I congratulate Levi and Playgirl magazine for having him remain completely natural in his photos. A man should present himself with full eyebrows, full underarms hair, full pubic hair, legs hair, and so forth. This completely natural appearance is masculine and sexy. A man should not be trimming or shaving or plucking or waxing. I realize that everyone has a look that works for them, but my vote is for the completely natural man from head to foot.
