  John is a beautiful person, inside and out. He's breath-taking and brilliant. His heart is truly beautiful and I know this first hand. Some of you bitter harpy sea-hags need to stop hating on him because he's not really into histrionic cougars. John just needs a woman who understands him and is not some possessive needy harpy who is picking on everything he does. He needs to be free to live his well-earned life as an amazing man! There...   Who he dates is not important, the important thing is the quality of his music. Since his music is all really good and creative no one should care about his personal life. There's a reason its called a "personal life" anyway; its meant to be PERSONAL!

  John Mayer is one of the best songwriters to come along in years. We should be grateful that this genius has courage enough to share his talent with the world. When was the last time an album like Room for Squares came out with so many amazing tunes. Who gives a rat's @**! about his social life. We all struggle with relationships. Songs like his help some of us to not feel so alone. Bravo John!

  It is so sad that some people hate themselves so much that they have to aim that hate at others to make themselves feel a bit better. How can so many people be angry at John Mayer for failed relationships with people they do not even know? And since you do not have first hand information from the people involved how can you possibly know what truly occurred between them?

  John Mayer is a freak. Was his violation of Jessica Simpson "legally ambiguous"? He is way out of his element with Jen Aniston and Jessica Simpson -- he probably just used them to promote his own career and get himself press. Remember, he takes to those paparazzi like Jon Gosselin - very narcissistic. His outfit on Ellen is totally gay. Maybe he'll come out and then we'll know for sure that he hates women and revels in mind f*cking them.

  Mayer and Aniston (just like Aniston/Vaughn/Sculfor etc....) were never a couple. It was entirely PR. Wait and see I know. This was CAA arranged and was to protect her career because her fans and the media are invasive and this reflects in their profits. REALLY, it is NOYFB. VERY VERY SOON she tells the truth. OK ? Wait and see. Mayer is freaked out because he knows that his year long charade with Aniston is going to get revealed. That is why she is making the "Pretend Wife" next. She had plans for years....

  I read the comments on this article and it's interesting that someone claims to have seen him in Palm Beach gay clubs. If he comes out as a gay, I hope Lisa Lampinelli adds him to her act -- about gay men who sleep with women and how it messes with the woman's sense of self forever. He does seem to be a publicity seeker re: Jen Aniston and how he went to the media first to talk about how HE broke up with her. And then there's talk that he was a sexual freak with Jessica Simpson -- making her feel violated and intellectually inferior. John Mayer creeps me out and the less I hear about him, the better. I don't think he's a good boyfriend (to women, at least) and seems to leave a mess when he's done with a woman -- I mean leaves her a mess. I loved his music when his career started, but now he just creeps me out and seems disingenous and a major player. He's on the right track to lay low and I wish him luck changing the public perception of him, but it might be too late.

  I hate seeing all the mean comments about John Mayer. He is a lyrical genius and HIGHLY intelligent! Which if you haven't noticed, most highly intelligent people are kind of weird and dorky. He's amazing. Don't hate on someone you don't even really know. You only know what the media tells you, which COME ON PEOPLE. The media is definitely NOT a reliable source.
