Nick Lachey may be putting his bride-to-be in charge of the wedding ceremony, but that doesn't mean he's been completely hands-off when it comes to planning his nuptials to Vanessa Minnillo, 30.
"Weddings by nature are more for the bride," Lachey, 37, tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on stands now). "I'm responsible for the honeymoon "That's my goal."
Though the Sing-Off host admits he has "no idea" where the destination will be, he says, "you want to pick a place where your bride wants to spend her first week being married."
He plans to get input from Minnillo — just as he does when it comes to his career. His fiancee was in the studio when he recorded his newest song, "Last One Standing" (which he performed during the Big East Conference on March 12), "and she loved it. I always run stuff by her."
