Let's create a scenario with the same set of facts, except that the person jumping on stage was a white country music singer, let's say Toby Keith. And Toby Keith grabs the mike from some young black female singer who just won her first award. Toby Keith says into the mike "no disrespect, I'm sure your video was ok, but it should have gone to my girl Carrie underwood. woo-hoo! Carrie get up and take a bow!" If that had happened, you would not only have virtually every white person say "what a jackass," you would have almost all blacks (and the largely left-wing media) say "what a racist."   This has nothing to do with race, gender, who's married to who, or any of that stuff. Kanye made a mistake, Taylor forgave him, the world is against Kanye ,and Jay-Z (his friend) explained the reality of the situation. They are all 4 (Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kanye West and Taylor Swift) talented, platinum artist. They have all apologized, accepted apologies, showed class, taken up for each other, and gotten over the whole thing. They have moved on and their focus is back on making money and surviving in this messed up world and economy. I suggest we all get over the situation and do the same.

Jay-Z has made himself look bad by defending him in any way, he would have been better off staying silent, something Kanye needs to learn.
