  GJK, Britney isn't in country or winning vocalist awards. Usually the best vocalists win that award. Taylor is one of the worst. Britney can dance and Taylor can't.

  Ok, country has NOT gone completely pop. Taylor Swift is NOT country. She was kind of country with "Our Song" and "Tim McGraw" and now she's pop. And she shouldnt have won country awards. And i dont understand the person that said she should've lost to Carrie but won entertainer of the year. I dont think she should have beaten anyone in the entertainer of the year category, those guys are legends compared to her.

  Erika who are you to judge Britney? She has a mental illness. And yes there are millions of people in the US who have depression, bipolar, etc. I hope this never affects you or anyone you know. As for Taylor,she's not my cup of tea so can't say she did not deserve the award. Country has gone pop these days, that's too bad.

  i love carrie underwood and her new CD. but she hasn't done anything this year to deserve any awards. it has nothing to do with her amazing voice and talent. don't worry, next year she will clean up at the CMA's. at least carrie didn't react to taylor's awards like faith hill did when carrie won a few years back!! THAT was drama.

  I agree with Karen, Taylor cannot carry a tune in a bucket. I like some of Taylors songs, and she is a great entertainer. But Taylor cannot hold a candol to Carrie Underwood when it comes to a good voice, Carry has a beautiful country voice, Taylors voice is NOT country, and she hits too many bad notes, she sounds like she is 10 years old. And I hat that song 15 it is awful. I wonder if anyone knows what Taylor ment , when she said that she wanted to thakn Reba M, and Faith Hill, for being their self. TAYLOR IS NOT COUNTRY MATERIAL!

  I think taylor is great.....sometimes the most original music comes from the younth. And Lori your idea of country is as old as dirt...get over the idea that country needs to be played on a fiddle. Country changes just like EVEYTHING and the fact is country is more enjoyable and more people listen to country then ever before. Thats because of musicians like Taylor...forget about the old days live your life like it's 2009 not 1969.

  Do you people want robots in the country music world...every one has a different style of singing, not all the country songs have to sound the same! There are obviously people that enjoy her music, she wouldn't be where she is today without the fans that she does have...they may not be you, but she clearly has a huge following.
