Hilary Duff sure is making her presence known on the CW's Gossip Girl!
On Monday's episode -- advertised in promos as the "3SOME" episode -- Duff's actress-turned-student character Olivia got tangled in a sexy web with Penn Badgley's Dan and Jessica Szohr's Vanessa. (Watch a clip above.)

After a night of drinking, Duff's character reluctantly agrees, thinking that a potential new movie role will take her away from NYU and she won't have to deal with the consequences of kissing both her beau and his pal.

Later, the trio ends up in bed together -- as Olivia receives a text message saying her movie role fell through.
The decidedly tame tryst aired even after the Parents Television Council asked the network to yank the episode when suggestive promo spots ran on TV.
"Will you now be complicit in establishing a precedent and expectation that teenagers should engage in behaviors heretofore associated primarily with adult films?" the education group's president Eric Winter said in a statement, adding that the show is "expressly targeted to impressionable teenagers."
