Jamie Lynn Spears Following the footsteps of her megastar sister Britney, Jamie Lynn Spears has appeared on Nickelodeon’s airwaves on both variety and sitcom guest roles in years past. The 16-year-old actress/singer looked up to Britney growing up in Louisiana where she constantly performed at home and at school.  Spears announced her pregnancy in December 2007 with now fiancé Casey Aldridge, who proposed in March 2008. On May 3, the Spears family - including older sister Britney - celebrated the pregnancy with a baby shower in the star's hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana.  A cameo in 2002’s Crossroads, alongside her sister, marked Spears’s acting debut. Later that year, Spears joined the cast of hit sketch comedy All That. In 2005, Spears made the jump from ensemble member to series lead when she landed the starring role in Zoey 101, Nickelodeon’s Emmy-nominated sitcom. The role won Spears widespread popularity. She was nominated for a Teen Choice Award in 2005 and won the Kids’ Choice Award for Favorite TV Actress in 2006.
