Tony Danza and Wife Split

Actor Tony Danza, 55, and his wife, Tracy, announced Thursday that they are separating after 20 years of marriage, the actor's rep, Jill Fritzo, told E! News.
 
The Danzas have two teenage daughters, Emily and Katie. Danza also has a son, Marc, from his first marriage and became a grandfather last year when Marc and wife Julie welcomed a son, Nicholas.
 
Marc broke the pregnancy news to his father on Danza's eponymous talk show, which was canceled in May after two years on the air. The National Enquirer reports that the stress over the show’s cancellation may have contributed to the breakup of Danza's marriage.
 
A former professional boxer, Danza’s breakout role as an actor came in 1978 playing boxer and cabbie Tony Banta on Taxi. He later starred as “manny” Tony Micelli for eight years on Who’s the Boss? Later this year he will appear in the thriller Aftermath, also starring Anthony Michael Hall and the late Chris Penn.

such a shame, 20 years. I was not a big fan of his show, it seemed like he couldnt get the same calibar (sorry for spelling)guests of many of the other morning shows. Everytime I watched,it seemed he always had alot of stars of the past or d listers.

Wow Anonymous! When being so upfront why not give us a name to the "face". Have to admit that the post I had entered said about the same thing, but in a totally differnt way. Whether or not it's always the "real" mrs. chocolate that is always on, I get really tired of the whining and complaining. And please stop with the idle threats. If you want to leave, no one will stop you. We just enjoy gossiping together. We don't always agree, but the regulars never resort to whining for help. And this new thing about using others' names is really lame. I'm sure that for those who do it, they must think they are s clever and really putting one over on us. Sorry to tell ya, but you are the ones that end up looking like fools.

Alg, I'm just really tired of them "disappearing" when I can look up another post and see not only really foul language but some of the ignorant and racist comments are too much. I hardly ever cuss and when I do, it's always **'d out. Oh well. Be nice if they would listen to our complaints, but whatcha gonna do??
