Simon, Paula, Randy and ... Courtney??? Hold on to your remotes, Idolites, because legendary rock idol Courtney Love tells Usmagazine.com exclusively that American Idol wants her!
Love reveals to her favorite magazine Web site that Idol's executive producer Nigel Lythgoe called her office last week inquiring into whether she would be interested in sitting in as a judge on the hit FOX show.
"He called," Love tells Usmagazine.com. "He was wondering if I was interested. I thought it was kind of weird but brilliant."
Is FOX lining up a replacement for slap-happy Paula Abdul, or just looking to spice up the show with the always-entertaining rocker/actress? Love, who is currently in L.A. recording a solo album, declined to reveal any more specific details.
But a source tells Usmagazine.com that Lythgoe was considering having Love "replace Paula."
American Idol reps could not immediately be reached for comment.

They can feel they Energy of idol dipped and they are fishing to raise it...makes sense, but "Love" is a bad idea. Because she is undeserving as a human being, she could not--through logic of physics--bring any good energy to the show...saving Brit Sp. from herself is a good idea, and whether they succeed or fail will not reflect on them...they should keep looking...

Some of the total goobers posting on here have obviously not been an Idol fan from day one. Paula is a true icon where music is concerned. She cares about the contestants and the integreity of the show. Paula and Simon have a great love/hate relationship that gives the show spice. Courtney Love has been in more tabloids and news for her behavior that Paula ever has. So the one who posted that is obviously on drugs themselves. Talk about trashy...Hello. Coutney Love should be the poster Girl. Also teenegers have every right to Post they are the largest demographic of the show.

It's about time to replace the OLD DRAMA QUEEN. Paula is a very bad image for the show such as chasing younger men (half of her age), constantly whining, dressing like a hooker and behaving like a stupid kid.
