Hold on, Hadid! While storming down the Michael Kors runway on Wednesday, September 14, Bella Hadid took a tumble in her high heels.
For the New York Fashion Week 2016 show (where Kendall Jenner walked as well), the Dior Makeup brand ambassador, 19, modeled a glittering black minidress with chiffon-inset sleeves and a leather belt styled with 6-inch open-toed velvet platform sandals. As audience members including Emily Blunt and Sienna Miller looked on, Hadid strutted her stuff … then fell facedown during her moment. But the blunder was short-lived as the pro, who’s dating The Weeknd, landed on her knees, bounced right back up and proceeded to finish her walk flawlessly.
Even though there’s photographic evidence, not everyone in the crowd was able to spot her stumble. “I was there and didn’t see her fall,” one onlooker tells Us Weekly. “Audience members faced all different directions for the show, and no one had any sort of audible reaction when she fell.”
Aside from the fall, Hadid has had a strong sartorial week thus far. The younger sister to Gigi Hadid opened the DKNY show on Monday, September 12, donning a hooded black minidress with no bra and glittery lips courtesy of Pat McGrath. And on September 13, she announced her October 2016 cover of Flare magazine, where she slayed in a Calvin Klein leather jacket, briefs and nothing more.
