Pucker up! Pat McGrath is launching a new lab that’s all about lips. Lust 004, available on Tuesday, August 30, is a series of three lip kits that includes luxe matte lipsticks, a vinyl gloss, microfine glitter and her signature gold pigment.
Though we’re waiting with anticipation to slick on the three shades and their toppers, we’ve already seen them on some of our favorite stars. Bella Hadid donned a sparkling crimson lip while walking the Atelier Versace Fall Couture runway show on July 3, and Rihanna sported glittery red lips on the September 2016 cover of W.
“This is for everyone who’s mad about any kind of lip shade or any kind of lip fun, any kind of lip obsession,” McGrath, 46, tells Us Weekly.
The three shades — Vermillion Venom (the red seen on Hadid and Rihanna), Bloodwine (burgundy) and Flesh (nude) — are the makeup artist’s favorite colors that she’s used throughout her career. While the colors pack powerful pigment, she ensures that they’re still wearable.

“It’s a really comfortable matte, but at the same time highly pigmented,” she tells Us. “It wears and feels like a balm. You can wear it without your lips cracking and all of that. It’s comfortable.”

Comfort isn’t the only quality that these kits possess. The possibilities for multiple looks are endless with the five products! While the mattes are fine on their own, McGrath “would do the flesh color, then I would do the gold on a wet brush to put on my Cupid’s bow,” she says. “That’s the easy way to wear it. If you’re completely lip-obsessed, you will try it out over the glitter, press that on alone, maybe add a tiny bit of gloss. Or wear the gold as an eyeliner! It’s a kit for everything.”

Flesh, Vermillion Venom and Bloodwine kits will sell for $60. The Everything kit, which contains, well, everything, goes for $150. And if you don’t want to commit to the glitz, scoop up a single lipstick for $25. Be sure to act fast, though: Gold 001, Phantom 002 and Skin Fetish 003, her previous labs, never stay online or on shelves. “It’s a limited run,” she notes. “The last one sold out in about an hour. I don’t know what happened — it, like, disappeared.”
