Bozoma Saint John
Bozoma Saint John is a Ghanaian-American marketing executive, entrepreneur and television personality known for leading global marketing at major companies including PepsiCo, Apple, Uber, Endeavor and Netflix. Saint John was born in Middletown, Connecticut, and moved with her family to Ghana when she was 6 months old. She also spent parts of her childhood in Kenya and Washington, D.C. before settling in Colorado Springs at age 12. She graduated from Wesleyan University in 1999 with a degree in English and African American studies.
Saint John began her career at advertising agencies including Spike Lee’s Spike DDB before joining PepsiCo in 2005. She eventually became head of music and entertainment marketing, working on high-profile campaigns and music partnerships. After joining Beats Music in 2014, she became head of global consumer marketing for Apple Music and iTunes following Apple’s acquisition of Beats. She later served as chief brand officer at Uber, chief marketing officer at Endeavor and global chief marketing officer at Netflix.
Saint John has been inducted into the American Advertising Federation Hall of Achievement, Billboard’s Women in Music Hall of Fame and the American Marketing Hall of Fame. Forbes named her the world’s most influential chief marketing officer in 2021. She published her memoir The Urgent Life in 2023 and, in 2024, he joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a full-time cast member in 2024.
Bozoma married Peter Saint John in 2003. They welcomed daughter Lael in 2009 before Peter died of cancer in 2013. She became engaged to Keely Watson in 2025 and got married in a traditional Ghanaian ceremony in August 2026.
