About
Pat McAfee (born Patrick Justin McAfee) is a former NFL player and sports analyst. McAfee was a standout athlete in high school before playing college football at West Virginia University as a punter. He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in 2009 and spent eight seasons with the team, earning two Pro Bowl selections and an All-Pro honor before his retirement in 2017.
After leaving the NFL, McAfee transitioned to media, launching The Pat McAfee Show in 2019, which gained a massive following for its unfiltered sports commentary. He later became a sports analyst for ESPN and appeared on College GameDay. In 2018, he joined WWE as a commentator and occasional in-ring performer.
McAfee tied the knot with Samantha McAfee in 2020. They welcomed their daughter Valerie in 2023.
