Soon-Yi Previn
Soon-Yi Previn is the adopted daughter of actress Mia Farrow and the wife of director Woody Allen.
Previn was born in South Korea in 1970 and adopted by Farrow and André Previn in the late 1970s. She was raised in New York City alongside Farrow’s biological and adopted children. Previn attended Drew University and later received a master’s degree in special education from Columbia University.
Previn gained public attention in the early 1990s when her relationship with Allen, Farrow’s longtime partner, became known, sparking controversy. It was later determined that Allen took no part in her upbringing and he and Farrow had ended their relationship before he became involved with Previn.
The couple tied the knot in Venice in 1997. They share two adopted daughters: Bechet Allen (born in 1999) and Manzie Tio Allen (born in 2000).
