311 frontman Nick Hexum delivered his daughter Maxine without any medical supervision, Us Weekly confirms.

Born five weeks early, Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy’s bundle of joy has come a long way. “She was a preemie so she was so small at first,” Frankel tells Us of Bryn, who weighed 4 lbs, 11 oz when she was born May 8. “But she’s getting to be a bigger girl now.”
Hexum was concerned for his daughter's safety when he noticed the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck. Remembering the birth of his daughter, Echo, 21 months prior, he reached in and rotated the baby so she could be delivered.
“All the things that you thought were important drift into the background, and the things that are really important come to the forefront, and he’s one of them,” new dad Bloom says of Flynn, who came into the world in January 2011. “He’s my boy. He’s amazing.”
Fortunately, the midwife arrived about ten minutes later and cut Maxine's umbilical cord. Mom and baby are both doing well.
