Babies on the brain?
Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine wants to start a family — but the 32-year-old isn't ready to be a dad just yet.
"I want to start having kids, yeah," The Voice coach told Piers Morgan on Wednesday. "[But] not for seven or eight years!"
Levine told Morgan, 46, that when he envisions his life in ten years, he hopes there's a toddler in the picture: "I'd love to be maybe considering the idea of having a family. And at [42], I'd love to have maybe a 2-year-old."
So does his desire to be a father mean he also wants to walk down the aisle? "Not necessarily," he said. "I don't think that you necessarily have to be married to have children… Marriage is a controversial thing, clearly. I find that in a lot of ways, it doesn't work. Then in some ways, it does. I'm inspired by certain marriages. I'm uninspired by others."
Levine is currently dating Victoria's Secret model Anne Vyalitsyna. In the past, he's been romantically linked to Jessica Simpson, Natalie Portman, Maria Sharapova and Kirsten Dunst.
