So cute! Alexa and Carlos PenaVega shared the first photos of their baby boy, Ocean, on Instagram on Saturday, December 10.
“The moment life changed forever. #welcomehomeLilO #12/7/16 #8pound6ounceblessing #GodisGreat,” Carlos, 27, captioned an adorable picture of the family of three.
Alexa, 28, shared a cute black-and-white shot of herself cradling the newborn. “8.6 lb blessing. #OceanPenaVega #WelcomeHomeLilO,” she wrote on Instagram.
Later in the day, the Spy Kids actress posted another photo of Ocean asleep in her lap as she relaxed in a hospital bed. “Little gift from God that I get to share with my husband,” she gushed.
As Us Weekly previously reported, the proud parents, who married in January 2014, welcomed their firstborn on Wednesday, December 7. They announced the baby’s name in August as Alexa explained to her Instagram followers: “God called the dry ground ‘land’ and the water the ‘seas.’ And God saw that it was good. That is why we went with Ocean. And he is a son of the one true ‘King.’ For us it has a beautiful biblical meaning.”
The actress and the former Big Time Rush singer, who competed against each other on season 21 of Dancing With the Stars in 2015, announced they were expecting a little bundle of joy in June.
“There is going to be a new cool kid in town… And by cool I mean dorky just like their father. A little PenaVega is on the way!!! #ItsHappening #HolyWow #Imgoingtobeadaddy,” Carlos wrote on Instagram at the time.
Alexa and Carlos, who started dating in 2013, combined their last names (Alexa Vega and Carlos Pena) when they tied the knot. She was previously married to film producer Sean Covel.
