Congratulations are in order for 21 Jump Street actress Amber Stevens and her husband, Andrew J. West.
The 31-year-old chose the perfect date — Mother’s Day — to announce that she and the Walking Dead alum, 34, are expecting their first child together this fall.
“My new look,” wrote Stevens in a Sunday, May 13, Instagram Story, that shows her flaunting her growing bump in a variety of adorable poses. In one image she lounges on a couch in pajamas with her hands on her growing tummy. The model also posted a shot of the proud dad-to-be kissing her belly with the caption: “The best is yet to come! #comingthisfall.”
Stevens and West met while playing boyfriend and girlfriend on the ABC Family college fraternity series Greek in 2009. The show ended in 2011 after four seasons, but the couple’s romance lived on. They tied the knot in December 2014.
“We’re ready to do the next thing,” she told the Daily News ahead of their wedding. “He totally gets what I do for a living and he does it also, so we really have this amazing understanding of the relationship. We really support each other and we have a blast together. He’s my best friend — and my parents like him!” (Stevens’ mother is former model Beverly Cunningham and her father is DJ Shadoe Stevens.)
When the couple first got together in 2009, a West told MaximoTV that he was instantly smitten with his costar. “Oh my goodness, look at her,” he raved. “How could I not be?”
