Amy Adams Not Expecting Twins, Golden Globes Speech Sparks Surrogacy Questions

Amy Adams' 2015 Golden Globes acceptance speech raised some eyebrows on Jan. 11.

Did Amy Adams just make a huge announcement at the Golden Globes? Not quite. The overjoyed actress celebrated her 2015 Golden Globes win for Best Actress in a Comedy/Musical for her role as Margaret Keane in Tim Burton's Big Eyes on Jan. 11 with a heartfelt speech.

One line in particular made people question whether the five-time Oscar nominee was actually expecting twins via a surrogate mother. Adams, 40, acknowledged a woman named Megan, saying, "To Megan, at home for nurturing twins in her womb. Sorry, it's getting weird."

Megan Moss Pachon is, in fact, Adams' publicist, who is currently pregnant with twins. 

Adams herself is mom to daughter Aviana Olea Le Gallo, 4, with her artist fiance Darren Le Gallo.

Tonight's win marked the second in a row for Adams in the same category after she took home the trophy in 2014 for her role in American Hustle.
