It’s a boy! The Bachelorette season 5 star Jillian Harris and her longtime boyfriend, Justin Pasutto, welcomed their first child Friday, August 5, Us Weekly can confirm.
Harris, 36, gave birth to baby boy Leo at 6:02 a.m. Friday. The healthy newborn weighed in at 6 pounds and 12 ounces.
The former reality star announced she was expecting a little one earlier this year in a sweet post on her blog. “I have dreamed for years of being a mama … thought about how I would tell people … how I would feel … what kind of mom I would be,” she wrote on March 4. “And here we are … Justin and I couldn’t be MORE STOKED to grow our little family!!”
Harris later shared the happy pregnancy news via Instagram, writing, “I can’t remember a time where my heart has been SO full. A total dream come true!! We are over the moon, stoked, blessed, [ecstatic]!!!!! Little babe, we CANNOT wait to meet you!!!!!!”
The TV personality and her longtime partner are eight years apart in age and have been dating more than four years.
Harris first competed for Jason Mesnick’s heart on season 13 of The Bachelor in 2009, where she finished in third place. After being selected to star as the next Bachelorette, Harris chose Ed Swiderksi as the winner of season 5. The pair ended their engagement in July 2010 after Us Weekly broke news of Swiderski’s infidelity.
