Bachelor Nation just got a little bigger! Kelly Travis tells Us Weekly that she and her husband, Hunter Hamm, welcomed a baby boy named Henry on Tuesday, June 5. He weighed in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces, and measured 21 inches.
“We are in love,” Travis told Us on Wednesday, June 7. “He’s doing great! He is the best baby.”
Travis, 32, broke the news via Instagram Story. In one picture, the new mom gazes down at her son, who is snuggled in her arms. The next shows the newborn modeling a blue and white cap and a kimono-style onesie. Travis captioned the image: “K, one more because that post bath hat.”
On Friday, June 8, she shared a new pic. “He’s here and he’s obviously perfect. Henry Steven Hamm, born 6.5.18 and weighing 7lb 15oz. Yes, I know he looks just like his dad, but I’ll gladly take the womb title for this guy,” she gushed.
The former reality star, who was a contestant on the 18th season of Bachelor in 2014, announced in November that she and Hamm were expecting their first child together.
Travis famously brought her dog, Molly, with her when she appeared on the ABC dating show. (Fans might remember that Molly leaped out of the limo before Travis during the premiere episode!)
Travis has her fingers crossed that Molly won’t be too jealous of her human sibling. “We go home today,” she told Us on Thursday. “So we will how Molly handles this addition. Hopefully they both handle it well!”
The Atlanta-based marketing executive met Hamm before going on the The Bachelor and found herself longing for him instead of Juan Pablo Galavis. After Travis was eliminated during a rose ceremony, Hamm, a financial advisor, was her first call. “He was there when I got to the airport,” she told Modern Luxury in 2015. “And we have spent every day together and night together since.”
Travis and Hamm tied the knot in April 2016. To mark their two-year anniversary, Travis shared a video from their wedding day on Instagram. “#tbt to my favorite day thus far. I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since we went on our first date and 2 of marriage,” she wrote. “I love you more now than I ever have (obsessed even,) and am thankful I’m not just saying that for social media content. You are the best.”
She continued: ”I hope our son is exactly like you! I am the luckiest.”
