After their four-year long battle of struggling to conceive, Bill and Giuliana Rancic's prayers to start a family were answered when they learned a gestational surrogate was carrying their baby.
And although they aren't able to experience the entire pregnancy around the clock, Bill, 40, says that their baby-to-be couldn't be in better hands.
"She's great. She's a very caring woman," he told Us Weekly during a Rogaine for Men event celebrating his new partnership with the brand in NYC Tuesday. "She's giving us a gift and we're going to be eternally grateful."
The Giuliana & Bill stars have been keeping busy while awaiting the arrival of their son or daughter. For one, they're house shopping for a home that will fit their expanding family and Giuliana, 37, is hard at work planning the nursery. And like most parents-to-be, they're also looking to go on a babymoon.
"That's the goal. We're hoping to go to Italy. We have a very small window and I'm hoping that we're going to be able to get away because we need a little bit of R&R," Bill explained to Us.
