Don’t mess with this mom. Brooklyn Decker tweeted that she was “livid” on Wednesday, April 27, after she disembarked her delayed flight to pump breast milk for her infant son — only to return to a closed gate.
The actress, 29, who welcomed her first child, Hank, in September with husband Andy Roddick, opened up about her horrible experience in a barrage of emotional Twitter updates this week.
First time leaving baby. It’s only 1 night & doesn’t make sense to fly him back & forth. I’m a mess.
Moms: booze is my only solution, right?

And do you pump in your seat on the flight?? Or the bathroom?? #Spiraling.

2 mechanical delays. Told we could de-plane. I did. Pumped in the bathroom. Returned 15 min later. Flight closed. Deeeeep breaths.

Them:”We’re sorry for the mechanical delay”
Me: Understandable
Them:”Another issue. Bringing a mechanic on. Passengers can leave & return”— Brooklyn Decker (@BrooklynDecker) April 27, 2016

Decker reiterated that it was her first time away from her 6-month-old son.
And I repeat-this is the FIRST TIME leaving my baby. I don’t know why I’m sharing all of this. I’m just livid. And tweeting. Whilst drinking

As women and as moms we try to do it all but it sure ain’t easy.

Crazy thing is I got off to pump thinking “I don’t want to offend the guy next to me” But why? He probably sucked a boob too. #winemusings

Decker’s tennis champion husband, 33, also took to Twitter to call out Delta for the blunder.
Awesome @Delta! 2 hour delay so she has to get off to pump. You give passengers permission to get off and then leave https://t.co/Sw0Yf5ES7Y

Decker and Roddick opened up to Us Weekly about the challenges of first-time parenthood at the SXSW Think It Up Live event in Austin last month. “Every cliché is true. I hear myself talk about it, and I am repeating clichés that people told me, but it’s all true,” Decker gushed of motherhood. “It’s the most incredible thing in the world. It really is.”
Roddick added to Us: “I’m not real dramatic about most things in general, but she’s right. You completely transform into that person that shows pictures all the time and you become every stereotype of it. I guess you don’t know until you know. It’s been such a treat so far.”
