Philipps has taken to Twitter throughout the past 24 hours to ask fans for help tracking down the fluffy playmates.
“I found a picture of Radar and Flat Bear. If you’re at @FSHualalai or know someone on the Big Island (who works at United Laundry Service in Kona?) please keep an eye out for these bears!” she wrote earlier on Tuesday. The Cougar Town star also thanked fans for their support on Tuesday, April 2, noting, “I’m hopeful that we’ll know more soon.”
Philipps first revealed that she accidentally left the bears behind via a string of Instagram Stories on Sunday, April 1. The Freaks and Geeks actress was in tears as she explained that her “wonderful” Hawaiian vacation with husband Marc Silverstein and their two daughters, Birdie and Cricket, 4, ended on a sour note when the family of four realized that Radar and Flat Bear were not onboard their flight.
“I called and housekeeping haven’t found them, so I think they were really tangled up in the sheets and just went to the place where they wash the sheets so hopefully tomorrow they’ll find them,” said Philipps. “[Birdie] was just so heartbroken. And I was, like, I knew it as soon as I opened up the suitcase to get Cricket’s stuff for bed. I was like, I didn’t see Radar and Flat Bear. I was like, f—k, f—k, f—k.”
The Vice Principals actress has admitted in the past that she is hard on herself when it comes to parenting. “I’m my strongest critic and I feel like I can never do anything right,” the told Working Mother in September 2017. “I push myself to do better and more.”
