Cardi B is celebrating her son’s 1st birthday by revealing his name — and face — for the very first time.
“Happy 1st birthday to Grey Marsean Diggs 🩶🩶🩶!!” Cardi, 34, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, November 4. “It’s only been 1 year since meeting you, but it feels like I’ve had you at my side forever. I carried you through one of the most uncertain high pressured times of my life but having you inside of me through it all gave me an extra strength.”
In Cardi’s birthday post for Grey, whose dad is NFL player Stefon Diggs, the Grammy winner included several new photos of her son posing in a variety of looks.
One appeared to be of the 12-month-old baby dressing up as a doctor from Grey’s Anatomy for a possible Halloween costume.
“I was growing you inside of me and at the same time you were giving me life!” Cardi continued in her post. “You gave a new meaning to what a Grey day feels like. You light up my life and every room with your smile, your laugh and your precious spirit.”
Cardi, who also shares kids Kulture, 8, Wave, 5, and Blossom, 2, with ex-husband Offset, has tried to keep her youngest son off of social media. Last December, however, the rapper shared a rare photo with all of her children.

“The perfect Christmas picture don’t exist in this house 😩❤️🎄,” she wrote via Instagram in December 2025.
Diggs, 32, also keeps his son out of the spotlight, but decided to share new photos via his Instagram Story in honor of Grey’s 1st birthday.
“Gorditoooo,” the Washington Commanders player wrote while holding his son at an NFL stadium.
While raising four children, Cardi has never stopped working on her various businesses and career. During a September interview with Entertainment Tonight, the performer explained why she works so hard for her family.
“I was panicking. It’s like, yo, I leave this earth and my kids [are] going to have just music royalties that they’re most [likely] going to have to be arguing [with] people about it,” she said. “They’re going to have a couple of properties and a couple of liquid money, but it’s like, what is something that, God forbid, something happens to me, I leave behind that is for them?”
When discussing her haircare line, Grow Good, Cardi continued, “This is, God forbid, something happened to me; this is theirs.”
