No Teigen twins here! After years of trying to conceive a baby with her husband, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen is loving her first pregnancy. And the Twitter-happy model, 29, has no problem shutting down the trolls who have happily weighed in on her growing baby bump.
After she posted a selfie that showed the profile of her bump via Instagram on Sunday, Oct. 18, writing, “Somebody is early to the party,” several commenters speculated that she was expecting twins.
@Briecastrac1 tweeted, “yup it’s definitely twins, the bigger the bump the bigger the surprise,” and @helloticia_420 wrote, “@chrissyteigen damn you go big fast! My bestie is due in Feb and she’s 1/2 your size. Not twins? Probably triplets!”
The outspoken Teigen was not pleased with the comments about her pregnancy and weight and responded on her feed.
“Good thing I am unoffendable or this would be a rough few months,” she tweeted, “I did IVF. One at a time. It isn’t twins. I can see the damn thing. Get out of my uterus! Please stop. I put one embryo in. I have ultrasounds every few days. I didn’t announce at a week.”
She also acknowledged that she was guilty of commenting on other women’s bumps, tweeting, “It’s my own karma! I love bumps so I loved saying how round/big/beautiful they are on others. Don’t worry, friends.”
