Hasn’t Twitter learned to not mess with Chrissy Teigen? The 32-year-old Cravings author hit back after internet trolls bashed her for sharing a sweet moment with her 2-year-old daughter while breast-feeding 7-week-old son Miles.
Teigen posted a hilarious Instagram photo of herself mid-feed on Saturday, July 7, with the caption, “Luna making me feed her babydoll so I guess I have twins now.” The cute photo shows the tot assisting by holding up a blanket, but some haters didn’t see the humor in it.
One commenter wrote: “Christ in a hand basket. Menstruating, childbirth and sex are natural, too, but that doesn’t mean I want to see pics of it and/or celebrities like @chrissyteigen taking a bath or nursing. We get it.”
After retweeting the message to her almost 11 million followers, Teigen responded: “I don’t care to see grainy fireworks, coachella selfies or infinity pool pics but i let people live. calm your tits and scroll on by.”
While some supporters jumped to her defense, others continued to share their opinions — and so did the Lip Sync Battle cohost.
“Nah. Just chillin. Posting daily life like I do with anything else. Cooking, playing with dogs, etc. You make feeding a baby big deal because you got weird titty issues,” Teigen later wrote in response to a since-deleted tweet.
Though the former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model is often the focus of social media backlash, she doesn’t let it stand in the way of documenting moments with her family that she enjoys.
Following controversy about her personal decision to bathe with Luna last month, Teigen didn’t shy away from sharing a similar experience last week. On June 29, she posted a video to Instagram in which she is splashing around a tub with her daughter.
Teigen shares Luna and Miles with husband John Legend. The two tied the knot in September 2013.
