Ciara and Russell Wilson are couple goals. When the singer completed her performance on Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic tour on October 24, Wilson was waiting backstage with a birthday surprise.“#Birthday Lovin is ALL I wanted,” wrote Ciara, 33, on Instagram, “and he gave it to me.”
The R&B star was giddy when she spotted the Seahawks quarterback standing there with flowers. “It was the best feeling because not only was it my birthday, but since he hasn’t been able to see me on tour yet,” Ciara told Us Weekly, over a zombie cocktail before performing at the BACARDÍ ‘Liberate Your Spirits’ Halloween Event at Villain in New York. “Afterwards we had date night. The night was full of love.”
Ciara and the NFL star, 29, who tied the knot in July 2016, are parents of 18-month-old daughter Sienna. She shares son, Future, 4, with ex-fiancé Future. The kids made sure turning 33 was sweet for their mom. “Both of my babies showered me with so much love,” she told Us. “Future kept telling me happy birthday.”
Though the couple are busy with their careers, they FaceTime constantly. “We do our best to keep our once a week date night ritual going,” Ciara revealed. And as a family they are all taking Spanish lessons together, an activity she considers a “parenting win.”
Meanwhile, they could have a new member in their class soon. The Texas native and Wilson are 100 percent planning to have more children. “Absolutely,” she told Us. “We always said we wanted a big family.”
Ciara and Wilson remained celibate until their wedding night. In 2017, she revealed it was the athlete’s idea to wait until marriage. One day after their nuptials, the pop star joked on Snapchat, “So baby, you know, what we’re doing tonight.” He responded, “And what we did last night, I want to do multiple times.”
