Breast-feeding moms need about 500 extra calories a day. And Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is making sure his girlfriend, Lauren Hashian, enjoys every bite. The Rampage actor, 46, lovingly spooned pasta into Hashian’s mouth as she nursed their 7-week-old daughter, Tiana, on Sunday, June 10.
“I’ll handle this business,” Johnson captioned his Instagram post. “Mama @laurenhashianofficial has her hands full nursing/feeding baby Tia, so I’m feedin’ mama her dinner. My pleasure. So much respect to her and all mamas out there holding it down and running things.”
The Jumanji star noted that he had just returned home from traveling. “Just landed and good to get all my girls settled in,” he wrote. “Now I gotta go satisfy my own appetite. Iron Paradise, here I come. #EveryoneGetsFed #DaddysGottaGoToWork, #ChivalryIsToughOnTheKnees.” (Iron Paradise refers to Johnson’s enormous home gym.)
Johnson and Hashian welcomed Tiana on April 23. The couple are also parents of Jasmine, 3. He shares 16-year-old daughter Simone with ex-wife Dany Garcia.
The pro wrestler opened up about the birth of his third child during a May interview on ITV’s Lorraine. “I’ve learned you have to be very supportive,” he revealed. “You’ve got to be right there supporting Mama, supporting her with words. I hold hands, I hold legs . . . I did it all on this.”
He continued: “The doctor said, ‘Do you want to come down here?’ I said, ‘No, I’m going to stay over here by the head, stay by mama. Then I thought, ‘You know what? It’s my daughter. My third one.’ I told Lauren I’d be right back.”
Johnson doesn’t regret the view. As he told host Lorraine Kelly: “Watching her and being part of that process was amazing.”
