Onesie before statue! Eddie Redmayne confirmed for the first time on Sunday, January 10, that he and his wife, Hannah Bagshawe, are expecting their first child.
“That is true!” Redmayne, 34, told Ryan Seacrest during the 2016 Golden Globes in Beverly Hills when the red carpet host asked whether the baby news was accurate.
The British hunk was also joined by Bagshawe on the red carpet, and they received two adorable onesies from the E! News cohost. The baby outfit read: “You should see my crib.”
Us Weekly confirmed last month that the couple — who married in December 2014 — are expecting.
Redmayne has more to celebrate, too. The actor is nominated in the Best Actor in a Motion Picture — Drama category for his work in The Danish Girl. He plays transgender Danish artist Einar Wegener in the movie.
“It’s wonderful to be here,” he told Seacrest outside the Beverly Hilton Hotel. “It’s a treat to be here. The producers have been working on it for 15 years, and it was a difficult movie to get made.”
