Fergie’s Star-Studded Baby Shower: Details from Her “Gay-By” Bash

All the details on Fergie's baby/"gay-by" shower

Sunday afternoon and evening was definitely a good, good time for pregnant Fergie: The first-time mom-to-be was the guest of honor at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills July 28 for an over-the-top, A-list-packed "gay-by" shower thrown by her gay BFFs, featuring drag performers, Patron tequila cocktails from Cuca Fresca, Tallarico Vodka and Ferguson Crest Wine (for everyone not with child), a pop/hip-hop soundtrack, a onesie-decorating station for guests and much more!

With husband Josh Duhamel at her side, Fergie, 38, was "absolutely glowing" at the bash, a source tells Us Weekly. "Josh walked her in and stayed with her — they are so cute and in love!" Due this fall, Fergie bonded with the night's organizers, her close pals agent Sean Patterson, DSquared fashion designers Dean and Dan Caten and celeb hairstylist Andy Lecompte.

The night's attendees (many of them bearing elaborate gifts) at the co-ed party included Julianne Hough, Adam Lambert, Lance Bass, Kelly Osbourne, Perez Hilton, Molly Sims, celeb style expert Robert Verdi, Halle Berry's model ex Gabriel Aubry (who is also repped by Patterson), Rupaul (out of drag) and members of Fergie's family. It wasn't an adults-only fete, either, with kids enjoying face-painters (done courtesy of a tutu-wearing fairy character named "Happily Ever Laughter"), elaborate balloon animals and plenty of candy and cake; Dylan's Candy Bar handled the decor, and designed the four-tiered cake (featuring a teddy bear at the top), which was baked by Sweet E's bakery.

The night's big surprise? Drag performer Courtney Act sang "Let's Hear It for the Boy" (Duhamel, 40, and Fergie recently confirmed their baby-to-be is a boy), with Rupaul dancing around the mama-to-be during the song. Guests boogied to other tunes like Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," Justin Timberlake's "Suit and Tie" and Madonna's "Vogue," among other tunes.

Says an attendee of the wingding, which featured a black, white and teal color scheme: "It was actually quite chill and relaxed, but everyone had a really good time!"
